The main features of the Global Application Acceleration Platform (GAAP) product include acceleration proxy configuration, origin server management, acceleration data statistics, channel monitoring, and obtaining users' real IP addresses.
Acceleration Proxy
Support configuring an acceleration channel by the target user region and the origin server region. The product will automatically create the optimal acceleration channel based on the target user region and the origin server region to achieve a high-speed and easy access experience from the target user to the origin server. For more information on configuration, see Access Management. Support TCP and UDP forwarding.
Support forwarding URL rules for HTTP and HTTPS.
The same listener can be bound to multiple origin servers, and multiple listeners can be created for a single channel.
Support the configuration and modification of channel forwarding rules, which take effect immediately and do not affect online business.
By configuring the internal acceleration forwarding rules for channels flexibly, users can gradually direct traffic to different origin servers. For more information on configuration, see Listener Management. Origin Server Management
Support management of a massive amount of origin servers whose types are IP address and domain name, and support batch addition.
Data Statistics
Support data statistics of an acceleration channel's bandwidth, concurrency, packet loss, latency, and packet forwarding volume. You can flexibly adjust the capacity upper limit of an acceleration channel as needed based on the actual statistical data. For more information, see Statistical Data. Channel Monitoring
Support monitoring the channel and origin server status. It can promptly raise alarms for channel or origin server problems to help you quickly grasp the information and handle the problems. For more information, see Access to TCOP. Obtaining Users' Real IP Addresses
Support using the TOA module or Proxy Protocol to obtain users' real IP addresses. It ensures effective IP address passthrough and meets the data analysis needs of customers who use Global Accelerator. For more information, see Configuring TOA to Obtain Users' Real IP Addresses.
