Billing Overview
This document provides a detailed introduction to the billing-related content of Global Accelerator 2.0. For billing instructions for other products, see the corresponding documentation or consult Tencent Cloud Assistant. For any other doubts, you can also contact us for communication. The billing items of Global Accelerator 2.0 consist of three parts: channel fee, public network traffic fee, and cross-region traffic fee.
Note:
China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. (China Unicom) provides agency operations for the cross-border segment of Global Accelerator. The traffic fee for the cross-border segment generated by using Global Accelerator is charged by the China Unicom side.

Channel Fee
CU is used to measure the performance metrics involved in the traffic processing of Global Accelerator, corresponding to the forwarder resource fee after the acceleration instance is created. The fee is based on actual business usage and is settled hourly.
Note:
Currently, Global Accelerator 2.0 only counts the number of CUs for traffic processing to charge fees. Other metrics are temporarily free.
Billing Logic
CU fee per hour = MAX [SUM(number of CUs for concurrent connections of each protocol), SUM(number of CUs for new connections of each protocol), SUM(number of CUs for processed traffic of each protocol), SUM(number of CUs for rule assessments of each protocol)] x CU unit price.

Public Network Traffic Fee
Public network traffic fee refers to the traffic fee generated when end users access Global Accelerator through acceleration regions and when Global Accelerator performs origin-pull to endpoints. The billing is based on the statistics on the main access traffic in each acceleration region per hour. The price of public network traffic fees varies in different regions. This section introduces the billing instructions for public network traffic fees.

When you select Hong Kong (China) as the acceleration region, you can create a dedicated BGP acceleration IP address to optimize access quality. The pricing of dedicated BGP public network traffic is as follows:

Cross-Region Traffic Fee
Cross-region traffic refers to business traffic forwarded from the acceleration region to the endpoint group region via Global Accelerator. The billing is based on the main traffic statistics between both regions, and the fee is deducted hourly. The pricing varies in different regions, with the pricing unit being USD/GB. The detailed pricing is as follows:
