Password-free sharing allows you to share a dashboard or chart with others for temporary viewing without login authentication, improving collaboration efficiency.
Prerequisites
Add the QcloudAccessForCLSRoleInClsShare policy permission to the service role (CLS_QcsRole) in the console. (This permission is automatically granted when the console is created for the first time.)
2. In the left sidebar, choose Dashboard > View Dashboard to go to the dashboard page.
3. Password-free sharing entry:
Dashboard password-free sharing: Click the Share button at the top, find Share Password-Free, and then click Create.
Single chart password-free sharing: Click the more operations button
in the upper right corner of the chart, and then select Create Password-Free Share from the menu.
4. Create a dashboard sharing. The configuration items are as follows:
Configuration Item
Description
Link Name
Name of the password-free sharing link.
URL Validity Period
The validity period of the link, calculated from the successful creation of the link. Private network sharing supports up to 1 month, while public network sharing supports up to 24 hours.
Default Data Range
The default time range for shared content. The current dashboard's time range is used by default.
Lock Data Range
A switch, disabled by default. When it is enabled, the global time range of the dashboard is locked, and only data within the time range can be viewed.
Lock Filters and Variables
A switch, enabled by default. When it is enabled, viewers cannot change filtering and variables.
Domain Type
Support two types: public network sharing and private network sharing.
Public Network Share: The password-free link can be accessed via a public network. It is recommended to enable the verification code simultaneously to ensure security. The code is enabled by default.
Private Network Share: The password-free link can be accessed via a private network, depending on the DataSight private network domain name. You need to create a DataSight private network domain name first. For details, see Using the Independent DataSight Console.
Verification Code
A switch. When it is enabled, viewers need to enter a verification code to open the link.
5. Copy the generated password-free sharing link and send it to others.
