Step 2: Add a domain and bind it to CLB

This document guides you on how to add and bind a domain name to CLB in the Web Application Firewall console.

Operation Step

1. Log in to the WAF console, choose Access Management > Domain Access in the left sidebar.
2. On the domain list page, click add domain, configure relevant parameters, and then click OK.
Field Description
Associated instance: Select cloud-native type and instance name.
Domain name: Add the domain name that needs protection in the domain input box clb.technicalsupport.cn.
Traffic source: Select CLB.
Use proxy: Select whether Anti-DDoS, CDN, Cloud Acceleration, or other proxies have been used based on the actual situation.
Note:
Select Yes. WAF obtains the customer's real IP address as the source address through the XFF field. If this option is selected, the source IP address may be forged.
Outside Mainland China: Selected based on actual requirements.
Select the CLB listeners to bind: Select based on actual requirements.
3. Click OK to return to the domain name list. In the domain name list, you can view information such as the protected domain name clb.technicalsupport.cn, as well as the Instance ID, name, Action, and origin address of the cloud native instance.


Following Steps

After you complete binding the domain name to the CLB, you can perform Step 3: Verification Test.
