This document describes the Instance Management module of the (WAF) Asset Center, where you can view instance details, purchase new instances, and manage the renewal and purchase of instance packages and extension packs.

Create and View Instances

1. Log in to the WAF console, and at the top of the left sidebar, switch the console to the region where the instance is located (Chinese mainland/non-Chinese mainland).
2. In the left sidebar, choose Connection Management > Instance Management.
3. On the Instance Management page, an overview of all purchased instances is displayed.

4. Click Create instance to jump to the purchase page and purchase as needed. For more purchase details, see Purchase Guide.

5. If an instance is bound to a high-defense EIP, the DDOS protection status will be displayed as: "Anti-DDos EIP bound" below the instance type.
Hover the mouse here to view the high-defense EIP address. Click view details to redirect to the EIP console.
After a high-defense EIP is bound, the bandwidth is assumed by the EIP. Bandwidth specification limits are not displayed, while backend statistics for service bandwidth on the VIP remain normal, and the bandwidth range takes effect as expected. Unbinding is supported via the EIP console. Bandwidth specifications will be automatically displayed after unbinding is performed.

6. On the Instance Management page, click Instance ID, and a pop-up of the Instance Details page appears on the right.

7. On the Instance Management page (taking a SaaS instance as an example), you can view its Basic information, Plan information, Add-ons, Extensions, and Attack log shipping information.
In the Basic information module, click

to On/Off plan renewal and Elastic protection.
The Add-ons module supports purchasing Extra domain package, Extra capacity package, and Exclusive IP.
Note:
Only SaaS WAF supports Exclusive IP. To enable this feature, submit a ticket or contact your dedicated account manager to apply for purchase.
The Extensions module supports enabling/disabling Bot Management and API Security.
The Attack log shipping module supports one-click enabling/disabling of security attack log delivery.

Search for existing instances

If you have purchased multiple instances and need to retrieve or search for them, you can use this feature. Current instances support retrieval by region and type, as well as keyword search.
1. Log in to the WAF console, choose Connection Management > Instance Management in the left sidebar.
2. On the instance management page, you can filter existing instances by type and region, or use the search box to find existing instances by keywords such as "Instance ID", "Instance name", and "Billing mode".
Click the type dropdown in the top-left corner to filter existing instances by WAF type.

Click the region dropdown in the top-left corner to filter existing instances by region.

Click the search box to query existing instances through keywords such as "Instance ID", "Instance name", and "Billing mode".

Manage Instance Domains

After searching for and viewing the required instance, you can configure the domain name for the instance in the following ways.
1. In the Instance Management page, click Associated domains to be redirected to the Domain Management page.

2. On the Domain Management page, you can create, edit, and delete domains. For details, see Domain Management.

Network Configuration

1. Network configuration can be performed for instances bound with Anti-DDoS EIPs.

2. Click Network Configuration to open the configuration dialog, where you can enable/disable the native VIP line. It is recommended to disable it.

After searching for and viewing the required instance, you can check the expiration date of your purchased product plan and the remaining usage of extension packs on the dashboard in the Instance Management page.
