When creating a target group, you can enable the health check feature to determine the availability of real servers. For details of health checks, see Health Check Overview.

Configuring TCP Health Check

When creating a target group, select the check method as TCP.
When configuring health check in target group management, select the check method as TCP.

Configuring Ping Health Check

When creating a target group, select the check method as PING.
When configuring health check, select the check method as PING.

Description
Default Value
Response timeout
The maximum timeout for health check responses.
If the real server does not respond correctly within the timeout period, it is considered a health check exception.
Configurable range: 2 - 60 seconds.

Check interval
The interval for the CLB health check.
Configurable range: 2-300 seconds.

Unhealthy threshold
If the health check results received for n consecutive times (n is the filled value) are failed, it is identified as unhealthy, and the console displays as Abnormal.
Configurable range: 2 - 10 times.
3 times
Health threshold
If the health check results received for n consecutive times (n is the filled value) are successful, it is identified as healthy, and the console displays as Healthy.
Configurable range: 2 - 10 times.
