Tencent Cloud WeData provides dedicated execution resources for task scheduling, data integration, etc., including two construction methods, Standard Execution Resources and Custom Execution Resources.
Standard Execution Resources
By unit of resource package, provided by Tencent Cloud WeData with standard purchase and configuration methods, supporting fully managed resource services. Multiple standard resource groups can be set up under tenants or project spaces.
Resource Features: Fully managed, lower resource operation threshold, no initial configuration required, simpler usage of the environment, consistent pricing with better bundle sale prices.
Application Scope: Product editions include the Professional Edition and the Enterprise Edition, supporting this method for both scheduling resources and integrated resources.
Custom Definition Execution Resources
Only supports scheduling resources. Users purchase and maintain underlying servers according to their needs, manually configure the service environment, and form execution resource groups. Multiple custom resource groups can be set up under tenants or project spaces, with underlying machines supporting shareability. Only scheduling resources support the custom construction method.
Resource Features: More transparent underlying machines and environments, higher flexibility of environment that can be configured according to one's needs.
Application Scope: The product edition is the Enterprise Edition, supporting only custom scheduling resources, data integration resources do not support this method.
