After you select the peak bandwidth, a corresponding basic package tier is automatically assigned. Each tier includes a certain number of partitions, and topics are not billed separately. The number of topics included in the package is calculated using the formula: Number of topics = Number of partitions/Number of replicas.
If the partition specifications in the corresponding basic package still do not meet your requirements, you can purchase an additional partition add-on package.

Number of Partitions in the Package

The mapping between peak bandwidth (x) and the number of partitions included in the package is as follows:
Product Edition

Pricing for Additional Purchased Partitions

The partition add-on package is sold in increments of 100 partitions. Pricing for the add-on package is as follows:
Number of Partitions
Yearly/Monthly Subscription Unit Price (USD/100 Partitions/Month)
Pay-as-you-go Unit Price (USD/100 Partitions/Hour)
100
35
0.05
Note:
The instance-level partition limit includes the number of replicas. For example, if an instance contains one topic with 2 replicas and 4 partitions, and two topics with 3 replicas and 3 partitions each, then the total number of partitions for this instance is: (1 x 2 x 4) + (2 x 3 x 3) = 26.
