How to install Fedora on your computer?

To install Fedora on your computer, you need to follow several steps. First, you should download the Fedora ISO image file from the official Fedora website. Next, create a bootable USB drive or DVD using the ISO file. Then, restart your computer and enter the BIOS or UEFI settings to change the boot order, setting the USB drive or DVD as the first boot device.

Once your computer boots from the USB drive or DVD, you will be greeted by the Fedora installer. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your language, keyboard layout, and time zone. You will then be prompted to partition your hard drive. It's important to back up any important data before doing this, as partitioning will erase all data on the drive.

After partitioning, you can proceed to install Fedora. The installer will guide you through setting up a user account and choosing various configuration options. Once the installation is complete, your computer will restart, and you can log in to your new Fedora system.

For example, if you want to install Fedora 34, you would first go to the Fedora website and download the ISO file for Fedora 34 Workstation. Then, you would use a tool like Rufus or balenaEtcher to create a bootable USB drive. After restarting your computer and entering the BIOS settings to boot from the USB drive, you would follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you need additional resources or services to support your Fedora installation, consider using Tencent Cloud's virtual private cloud (VPC) service to create a secure and isolated network environment for your Fedora instance.
