Mastering OpenClaw | A Quick Guide to Integrating OpenClaw into Line on the Cloud

Overview

This guide walks you through the complete process of deploying OpenClaw — an AI-powered chatbot solution hosted on Tencent Cloud Lighthouse. By following these steps, you will set up an AI assistant and connect it to the LINE messaging platform, enabling your LINE Official Account to automatically respond to user messages with AI-generated replies.

Prerequisites:

• A Tencent Cloud account with a Lighthouse instance (OpenClaw pre-installed)
• A LINE account for accessing the LINE Developer Console
• Basic familiarity with web-based console operations

Step 1. Configure the OpenClaw Model

Find the Instance you just purchased in console.

Go to the "Pre-installed application" tab.

Choose a suitable model/existing API. If you do not wish to purchase a model.

Step 2. Create Line Official Account

If you have a business account, you can jump to Step 4.

Enter https://developers.line.biz/console/

Give a random name.

Fill in the information of the official account, and click "confirmation" and "completion".

Step 3. Connect to Console

In Line Developer, find the provider you just created.

Go to Messaging API, and issue the access token.

Copy the channel access token and paste to Tencent Cloud console.

Go to Basic settings, copy channel secret and user ID, and paste to Tencent Cloud console.

Click "Add and Apply".

Copy the webhook URL here.

Step 4. Webhook Setting

Go to manager.line.biz and go to "setting".

Open "chat".

Paste the Webhook URL and save.

Go to Line Developers. In Messaging API, open "use webhook".
