🔥🔥🔥Epic Update: Guide to Integrating OpenClaw into WeChat on Lighthouse
Preliminary Preparations
OpenClaw (formerly Clawdbot) natively supports integration with WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, Slack, and other popular messaging apps, allowing you to interact with OpenClaw through these platforms. Before you begin configuring WeChat access for OpenClaw, please check the following items in order:
Your WeChat App version has been upgraded to the latest version (iOS: 8.0.70; Android: 8.0.69).
Please note that WeChat ClawBot is currently only supported in select regions outside mainland China. The feature is being gradually rolled out — please stay tuned.
Step 1. Configure the OpenClaw Model
1.Log in and enter the Console.
2.Locate "Tencent Cloud Lighthouse".
3.Find the Instance you just purchased.
4.Go to the "Pre-installed application" tab.
5.Choose a suitable model/existing API
The Models list only displays models that are available for use in this region:
due to access or service restrictions on some models in specific regions, the system will not display models that are not currently supported in the current region.
If this is your first time using this service, after selecting a suitable model, click "Get API KEY" below to purchase the model's credit limit and obtain the key.
Step 2. Select WeChat in the Channel Card on the OpenClaw Configuration Panel, Then Click "Go to Authorization"

In the application channel settings, select WeChat.

Click "Authorization Access" to proceed to the next step.

Please wait a moment until the QR code appears.
Next, we need to scan the QR code with WeChat to complete the connection.
Open the WeChat App on your phone and use WeChat's "Scan" feature to scan the QR code shown above:
After scanning is complete, add it, and you will be taken directly to the WeChat ClawBot chat page. You can start chatting with it right away:

Note: The table above only represents the message types that WeChat ClawBot can receive/reply with. Whether it can actually process images, files, and other tasks depends on the capabilities of the connected model.
⚠️ Note: If this image appears after scanning the QR code with WeChat, the reason is likely due to a region issue with WeChat used overseas.
Currently, Hong Kong is supported; for other regions, please check with WeChat's official support for compatibility updates.

WeChat requires iOS 8.0.70 or above. Even if you haven't been included in the grayscale rollout, you can directly scan the WeChat QR code to access and use it.
The Lighthouse console has been the first to support QR codes for the WeChat channel.
