2025-06-27 09:00:00

Dear Customer

Pursuant to the regulations on cross-border digital services of the Government of the Philippines, starting from June 2025, we are writing to inform you that Tencent Cloud will collect a 12% Philippine value-added tax (VAT) on services provided to non-enterprise customers in the Philippines. Under the Tencent Cloud Terms of Service, all fees charged for services are exclusive of taxes, and customers are responsible for bearing the taxes associated with the payment of any fees for the services.

For enterprise customers, Tencent Cloud will not charge Philippine VAT on services provided on the condition that they filled in their Philippine tax identification number (“TIN”) in Tencent Cloud Console. For enterprise customers who do not provide TIN to their account, Tencent Cloud will still charge the 12% Philippine VAT. All VAT collected from Philippine customers will be remitted to the Bureau of Internal Revenue(BIR).

To confirm your VAT -registered status, please proceed to Billing Center - Bills - Invoicing via https://console.tencentcloud.com/expense/invoicing , access " Invoicing- TIN Number" to fill in your TIN by July 6th, 2025.
