1. API Description

Domain name for API request: mps.intl.tencentcloudapi.com.

This API is used to create an adaptive bitrate streaming template. Up up to 100 such templates can be created.

A maximum of 20 requests can be initiated per second for this API.

2. Input Parameters

The following request parameter list only provides API request parameters and some common parameters. For the complete common parameter list, see Common Request Parameters.

Parameter Name Required Type Description
Action Yes String Common Params. The value used for this API: CreateAdaptiveDynamicStreamingTemplate.
Version Yes String Common Params. The value used for this API: 2019-06-12.
Region No String Common Params. This parameter is not required for this API.
Format Yes String Adaptive bitrate streaming format. Valid values:
  • HLS,
  • MPEG-DASH.
    		•
    StreamInfos.N Yes Array of AdaptiveStreamTemplate Parameter information of output substreams for transcoding to adaptive bitrate streaming. Up to 10 substreams can be output.
    Note: the frame rate of each substream must be consistent; otherwise, the frame rate of the first substream is used as the output frame rate.
    Name No String Template name. Length limit: 64 characters.
    DisableHigherVideoBitrate No Integer Whether to prohibit transcoding from low bitrate to high bitrate. Valid values:
  • 0: no,
  • 1: yes.

    • Default value: 0.
    DisableHigherVideoResolution No Integer Whether to prohibit transcoding from low resolution to high resolution. Valid values:
  • 0: no,
  • 1: yes.

    • Default value: 0.
    Comment No String Template description. Length limit: 256 characters.
    PureAudio No Integer Indicates whether it is audio-only. 0 means video template, 1 means audio-only template.
    When the value is 1.
    1. StreamInfos.N.RemoveVideo=1
    2. StreamInfos.N.RemoveAudio=0
    3. StreamInfos.N.Video.Codec=copy

    When the value is 0.
    1. StreamInfos.N.Video.Codec cannot be copy.
    2. StreamInfos.N.Video.Fps cannot be null.

    Note:
    This value only distinguishes template types. The task uses the values of RemoveAudio and RemoveVideo.
    SegmentType No String Segment type. Valid values:
  • ts-segment: HLS+TS segment
    • ;
  • ts-byterange: HLS+TS byte range
    • ;
  • mp4-segment: HLS+MP4 segment
    • ;
  • mp4-byterange: HLS/DASH+MP4 byte range
    • ;
  • ts-packed-audio: HLS+TS+Packed Audio segment
    • ;
  • mp4-packed-audio: HLS+MP4+Packed Audio segment
    • ;
  • ts-ts-segment: HLS+TS+TS segment
    • ;
  • ts-ts-byterange: HLS+TS+TS byte range
    • ;
  • mp4-mp4-segment: HLS+MP4+MP4 segment
    • ;
  • mp4-mp4-byterange: HLS/DASH+MP4+MP4 byte range
    • ;
  • ts-packed-audio-byterange: HLS+TS+Packed Audio byte range

    • . Default value: ts-segment. Note: The segment format for adaptive bitrate streaming is determined by this field. For DASH format, SegmentType can only be mp4-byterange or mp4-mp4-byterange.

    3. Output Parameters

    Parameter Name Type Description
    Definition Integer Unique ID of an adaptive bitrate streaming template.
    RequestId String The unique request ID, generated by the server, will be returned for every request (if the request fails to reach the server for other reasons, the request will not obtain a RequestId). RequestId is required for locating a problem.
