Thailand’s financial services sector is required to adhere to the 18 relevant regulations promulgated by the Bank of Thailand (BoT), Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (OSEC), Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), etc., which cover various aspects in the use of information technology in the financial sector, such as risk management, personal information protection, information technology application and security control in banking, insurance, e-government systems and other systems,electronic currency, payment system infrastructure, payment service providers.
Tencent Cloud’s IT compliance audit in Thailand financial industry is performed by an independent third-party audit agency with reference to the applicable requirements of the above-mentioned regulations promulgated by Thailand’s financial regulatory and relevant statutory bodies and follows ISAE3000 guidelines issued by IAASB (International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board).
