As the number of Tencent Cloud user resources increase, resource management becomes more difficult. To facilitate the management, Tencent Cloud has launched the Tag service. Users can use tags to categorize and manage existing Tencent Cloud resources and pre-set tags for resource planning. Tags are words and phrases functioning as metadata to identify and organize Tencent Cloud resources. The quantity limit of tags vary with resources, but most resources can have up to 50 tags.

• APIs of Tag and Cloud Access Management (CAM) stated in this section are of the latest 3.0 version. New tag-related APIs will be updated in this section. It is highly recommended that you use API 3.0.
