Thank you for your continued trust and support of Mobile Live Video Broadcasting (MLVB). To provide a more powerful and user-friendly live streaming solution, MLVB has been fully upgraded and is now introducing the new live streaming SDK, Tencent RTC Live.
To clearly distinguish between the product before and after the upgrade, “Tencent RTC Live” will refer to the next gen of MLVB. The details of this upgrade are outlined below:
1、 Mobile Live Video Broadcasting（MLVB）Usage Guide
The classic MLVB will continue to operate normally after the upgrade, and your existing business will not be affected. If your current setup is stable and no additional features are required, you may continue using the classic MLVB. Please refer to the Mobile Live Video Broadcasting（MLVB）documentation for details.
2、 Upgrade Details
MLVB (Classic) and the next gen Tencent RTC Live (TRTC Live) are built on different technical frameworks. As a result, MLVB cannot be upgraded to Tencent RTC Live through a simple version update or package replacement. To use TRTC Live, a new integration is required. For detailed differences, please refer to the table “MLVB Before-and-After Upgrade Product Comparison” below.
3、 We Recommend Using the New TRTC Live
The live streaming SDK TRTC Live represents a major leap forward built on the original SDK. It is designed to address more complex business scenarios while delivering a simpler, more developer-friendly solution. Compared with the classic MLVB, TRTC Live offers significant advantages in both functionality and integration, and is strongly recommended for new projects or developers looking to enhance user experience.
