To further improve the consistency and configuration experience of EdgeOne Web Security, we will be optimizing the Custom Block Page feature with a unified page configuration and management approach.
Upgrade Schedule
This upgrade is scheduled to begin rolling out on April 7, 2026(UTC+8), and will be completed by April 10, 2026(UTC+8).
What's Changing
The Use URL Page option under Web Security custom block page configuration will be deprecated. All related functionality will be managed uniformly through Custom Response Pages.
For existing configurations that currently use URL Page, the system will automatically migrate them with no action required on your part: the original URL page will be converted into a Custom Response Page instance, with the reference in the original configuration preserved.
Upgrade Notes
● This upgrade does not affect your existing business traffic or protection behavior. It only involves improvements to the console configuration method and page management experience.
● After the upgrade, you can view the migrated page configurations in the Custom Response Pages module in the console. For details, please refer to: Custom Response Page.
● After the upgrade, the Use URL Page option will no longer be available when editing Web Security custom block page rules. Please use Custom Response Pages for all configurations going forward.
