You can call APIs to perform operations on Tencent Cloud SSL certificates, such as submitting certificate material, placing certificate orders, reissuing certificates, and revoking certificates.

| CA | A certificate authority is a trusted third-party responsible for the issuance, signature, and management of digital certificates. |
| Certificate Types | Certificate types are divided into DV (domain validation type), OV (enterprise validation type), and EV (enhanced validation type) by authentication level. |
| Domain Name Validation | Domain name validation is the most critical step before a certificate authority issues a certificate. It aims to certify that the applicant possesses management permissions for that domain name. Verification methods include DNS validation and file verification. |
