Fault Action Library

The fault injection scenarios for different objects such as Cloud Virtual Machines (CVMs), networks, and databases are supported, including more than 130 atomic fault capabilities at Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) layers.
Multiple fault actions within a single experiment can be flexibly combined and orchestrated.
Custom action script injections are supported to meet personalized business injection requirements.

Industry Templates

Tencent Cloud's internal practices and typical user scenarios are consolidated into industry templates for quick reuse, significantly improving the experiment efficiency.
Industry templates provide experiment solutions for multiple industries such as e-commerce, gaming, and multimedia for users.
Industry templates cover a wide range of typical application scenarios, including cross-availability zone (AZ) disaster recovery experiments and service stress testing experiments.
Users can establish custom template libraries to create experiment tasks with one click. This is faster and more efficient.

Visualized Experiments

A visualization view of instance resource distribution is displayed by using Cloud Architecture, helping precisely control the blast radius and. Fault actions can be visually orchestrated, the fault injection status and effectiveness can be viewed in real time during experiments, and the experiment process is visible, simplifying operations and reducing costs.
When an experiment object is selected, you can select instances by using the cloud architecture, reducing the error rate.
During an experiment, the instance resource distribution is displayed to help users precisely control the blast radius and ensure the experiment security.
Fault action groups can be visually orchestrated, and the fault injection status and effectiveness can be viewed in real time during experiments, reducing operational costs.

Security Protection Policies

Cloud monitoring metrics can be configured, changes in steady-state metrics during experiments can be observed, and system changes can be detected in real time.
Alarm policies can be configured, and experiments can be automatically stopped when security guardrails are triggered, ensuring smooth experiments.
The platform supports one-click termination of experiments and rollback upon timeout, comprehensive protecting business security.
Fine-grained experiment permissions can be managed by leveraging the Cloud Access Management (CAM) permission management and control mechanism of Tencent Cloud.
Action injections are primarily based on the standardized APIs of various cloud products, ensuring high efficiency and security.

Experiment Reports

After an experiment ends, the experiment report (PDF) can be exported to help review the experiment and view recorded issues.
The experiment report covers basic information, data statistics, experiment execution logs, and so on.
