Viewing Rollback Task List

You can view the rollback task status and details of an instance on the Rollback History page. This article introduces how to view rollback history from the console.

Prerequisites

To query the instance of rollback history with an ongoing rollback task or executed rollback.

Operation Steps

1. Log in to the SQL Server console.
2. Select a Region at the top, find the instance as required, click Instance ID or Manage in the Operation column to enter the Instance Management page.

3. Select Backup Management, and select the Rollback History page on the Backup Management page.

4. You can see the field information as follows:
Field
Description
Rollback ID
The rollback task ID can be used to query specified rollback tasks by calling the Query Rollback Task List API.
Target Instance ID/Name
Show the instance ID/name of the target instance for rollback.
Rollback Time
Support sorting in ascending or descending order.
Task Start/End Time
Show the time when the rollback task starts/ends.
Format:

2025-07-08 15:22:54
Rollback Mode
Support filtering the list by rollback method.
All.
By time points.
Rollback by Replica Set.
Rollback Status
Support filtering the list by rollback task status.
All.
Waiting.
Rolling Back.
Rollback Completed.
Failed.
Deleted.
Target Instance Type
This field will show whether to roll back to the current instance or an existing instance during rollback, and supports by target instance type filter list.
All.
Rollback to Current Instance.
Rollback to Existing Instance.
Rollback Region
Show the corresponding rollback task's selected rollback region and support filtering the list by region.
Operation
Support deleting rollback records.

The API (DescribeRestoreTask) is used for querying the rollback task list.
