Cloud Base

Cloud Base (TCB) is a cloud-native integrated development environment and tool platform provided by Tencent Cloud. It offers backend cloud services featuring high availability and automatic elastic scalability to over 2 million enterprises and developers. It can be used to develop various client applications (such as mini programs, WeChat official accounts, and web applications) in cloud-client integration mode. It eliminates the complex server setup and Ops in the application development process and allows developers to focus on implementing business logic. This facilitates development and improves efficiency.

Benefits
Cloud Database

The document database provides features such as basic reads/writes, aggregated search, database transactions, and real-time push.

Cloud Storage

File storage and management are accelerated through CDN, and any amount and form of unstructured data can be stored.

Cloud Function

Code is managed on the cloud, requiring no server management. Automatic scaling is supported to ensure security and efficiency.

Cloud Backend

Abundant application templates, open data interfaces, and flexible permission management methods are provided to reduce the costs of building the management backend.

Workflow

Workflows are used to automate business processes. APIs can be called to automatically execute tasks without the need for code.

Low Code

The features and capabilities of Weda Lowcode are integrated, and abundant templates and components are provided, enabling visual application building through drag-and-drop.

Scenarios

Traffic surge applications can be built based on TCB to cope with traffic peaks without the need for traffic estimation in advance. For example, for e-commerce flash sale activities and real-time voting during live streaming, the elastic scaling capability of TCB can provide operation support for the applications when massive users access the applications.

An online event interaction system can be built based on TCB to provide features for scenarios such as event agenda management and lottery activity release.

An epidemic prevention and control system can be built based on TCB. The system supports running different client applications, sharing data and services in the same TCB environment, and constructing different roles for different scenarios.

Multiple enterprise users share the same system. Environment resources are mutually isolated to protect user data security. For example, an independent and customizable live streaming room can be provided for each merchant. When a customer enters a live streaming room, the portal in the corresponding isolated environment is obtained, and the environment resources are accessed.

TCB capabilities can support features such as game login, lobby server, matching, PK, and announcement push. It provides many game services, including room management, team management, online matching, frame synchronization, and status synchronization, helping developers quickly build multiplayer interaction games.

Pricing

The product adopts a billing mode that combines layered subscription packages and flexible pay-as-you-go billing. The basic packages cover the quotas of computing resources, storage capacity, and traffic of core modules (such as cloud function, database, and CDN) in different versions. If the actual usage exceeds the limit of the packages, the excess resources used are billed on a daily basis. Advanced functional modules (such as static management and log service) are provided and both independent billing and short-term high-concurrency resource packages are supported. Free trials for new users, proportional refunds for package upgrades/downgrades, and refunds for termination are supported. For pricing details, see the pricing document.
