Product Introduction
The QR code recognition feature helps users detect whether a QR code exists in an image. If detected, it returns the QR code's location and corresponding link, allowing overlay operations. This feature effectively resolves issues such as unauthorized QR code insertion and malicious QR code replacement.
Note:
When using QR code recognition, please first confirm the relevant limitations and Region. For details, see Usage Limitations.
Feature Experience
Applicable Scenarios
Prevent External Traffic Diversion
It is common for various platforms to use QR codes for external traffic diversion. E-commerce platform merchants insert QR codes in product images to divert traffic, reducing platform revenue. Community product bloggers use QR codes to privately promote goods, and the issues arising from unguaranteed product quality introduce associated risks to community platforms. Once high-risk QR codes such as those for gambling or high-interest loan websites are introduced to the platform, they will bring numerous legal issues. The Cloud Infinite QR code recognition feature can quickly identify QR codes in images and cover them, maintaining platform security.
Prevent Malicious Replacement
For scenarios such as malicious replacement of original QR codes in advertisements, to avoid financial and material losses as well as revenue damage, the Cloud Infinite QR code recognition service can effectively identify links corresponding to QR codes in images. If a link does not match the preset address, the system immediately issues an alert, prompting platform operators to replace the QR code and mitigate risks.
Prerequisites
You have enabled the COS service, created a Bucket, and uploaded files to the Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket files. You have activated the Cloud Infinite service and bound the Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket Binding.
Usage
You only need to add relevant processing parameters in the request header when initiating an image upload request to achieve QR code recognition. For details, see QR code recognition API documentation.
