To provide better bill service experience, we will add/change/delete fields for bills of the Billing Center, providing richer bill fields to help you better understand your fee information. Bills will be upgraded in batches from November 6 to November 14, 2024 Beijing Time (UTC+8).
Content of This Upgrade
The following fields in the bills will be added/changed/deleted:
Add the [Order ID] field: order ID.
Add the [Region Code] field: the code corresponding to the Region field.
Add the [Availability Zone Code] field: the code corresponding to the Availability Zone field.
Add the [Discount Object] field: the discount object for the current consumption item, such as official website discount, user discount, and event discount.
Add the [Discount Type] field: the discount type for the current consumption item, such as discount and contract price.
Add the [Discount Content] field: supplementary description of the discount type, such as 20% business discount which indicates that the discount type is discount and the discount content is 0.8.
Add the [Bill Month] field: used to record the billing month, such as 2024-01.
Rename the [SavingsPlanDeduction] field: The original SavingsPlanDeduction field will be renamed to SP Deduction.
Rename the [SavingsPlanDeductionRate] field: The original SavingsPlanDeductionRate field will be renamed to SP Deduction Rate.
Rename the [Configuration Description] field: The Configuration Description field in the original L3 bill details will be renamed to Component Configuration, while the Configuration Description field in the original L2 bills by instance will remain unchanged.
Delete the [Additional Attribute] field: The Additional Attribute field in the L2 bills by instance will be deleted.
Impact Range of This Upgrade
This upgrade will neither affect your online business operations nor impact the actual billing and settlement amounts with Tencent Cloud. It only involves upgrading the data display of bills by instance and bill details. If you obtain and locally process bill data through methods such as COS subscription, it is recommended to check whether adjustment is required for obtaining the bill data in your local applications after this upgrade is completed.
Data entries involved in this upgrade: Billing Center console >> Bills >> Bill Viewing/Bill Download Center, Billing Center console >> Bills >> Bill Viewing >> Bill Storage (namely Bill COS Subscription feature), API for obtaining the resource summary of bills, API for obtaining bill details, and API for obtaining the download link of a bill file.
Data range affected by this upgrade: bill data for the billing period of November 2024 and later.
