Product Introduction
Image quality scoring evaluates the visual quality of images across multiple dimensions, simultaneously providing a comprehensive objective clarity score and a subjective aesthetic quality score.
Note:
When using image quality scoring, please first confirm the relevant limitations and Region. For details, see Usage Limitations.
Applicable Scenarios
Evaluation and Guidance for Image Encoding Compression
Lossless compression methods have very limited capabilities. Mainstream image encoding and compression techniques primarily rely on lossy compression, supplemented by lossless compression. On one hand, the selection of each module in the encoding framework and its parameter settings are based on image quality.
Evaluation and Guidance for Image Process Algorithms
Through quality scoring results, we dynamically detect and adjust image quality conditions. For instance, image and video capture systems can automatically adjust parameters based on quality assessment results to obtain optimal-quality image data. In Internet digital services, we can also use assessment models to monitor real-time quality conditions of images uploaded via networks and allocate data stream resources.
Prerequisites
You have enabled the COS service, created a Bucket, and uploaded files to the Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket files. You have activated the Cloud Infinite service and bound the Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket Binding.
