Guetzli image compression is a visually lossless compression service offered by Cloud Infinite (a Tencent Cloud product). It enables high-ratio compression for JPG and JPEG images, helping users save download bandwidth, accelerate download speeds, and enhance user experience. The algorithm selectively discards detail information by leveraging human eyes' insensitivity to certain color gamuts and image details, maintaining visual quality while reducing image size by approximately 35% to 50% compared to original images under equivalent quality conditions.
To select the best compressed image (meeting compression and lossless requirements), Guetzli compression performs multiple levels of compression processing for each image. Therefore, the processing time is longer compared to ordinary compression algorithms, making it more suitable for non-real-time image application scenarios. Guetzli compression is a paid service. For specific pricing details, please refer to Image Processing Fees. Free tier: When your account first incurs service usage, Cloud Infinite will issue a free resource pack with a usage of 6000 times and a validity period of 2 months. Once the usage is exceeded or the resource pack expires, standard billing will apply.
