Scenarios

When you create a cloud-native gateway instance, parameters within the instance, such as nginx_http_client_header_buffer_size and nginx_http_client_max_body_size, are configured with default values. If your business has specific requirements, you can modify the corresponding parameters in the TSE console to optimize gateway performance.

prerequisite

Operation steps

2. In the left sidebar, choose Cloud Native Gateway > Instance List, click the "ID" of the target instance, and go to the basic information page of the gateway instance.
3. On the Basic Information page, select Parameter Configuration to go to the parameter configuration page. On the left, all modifiable system parameters are displayed in JSON format. On the right, a parameter description list is displayed. You can search by parameter name to view the default and optional values supported by the parameter.
4. Click Modify Parameter in the upper left corner, edit the JSON content, modify the parameter value to suitable content, and click Save. The instance is reloaded. Click Confirm to complete parameter modification. The parameter takes effect immediately after modification.
Note:
System parameter values are strings. When they are modified, you must include English double quotation marks ("").
Initial parameter values of an instance are displayed by default. If the initial parameter values are not specified for the instance, null is displayed.
To modify the access log format, choose Observability > Default Log > Edit Logging Rule in the console. For details, see Viewing Default Logs.
Modifying parameters triggers a reload operation, which may cause persistent connections to be interrupted. Proceed with caution.
