Tencent Cloud CKafka elastic storage (Professional Edition) is expected to have a price reduction starting from June 9, 2025. After this price change, elastic storage will adopt tiered billing rules.
Price Change Details
Elastic storage is billed according to the size of the storage space occupied by message storage and the storage duration.
Before adjustment, fees are charged based on the maximum actual storage space used per hour, at a rate of 0.00018 USD/GB/hour.
After adjustment, fees for elastic storage will be charged based on the tiered pricing of the maximum value of used storage space within one hour. The specific volume prices are as follows:

The maximum value of storage space in Hour 3 and Hour 4 is 2000 GB. Part enters the interval (1024, 5×1024].
Cost per hour for the 3rd and 4th hours: 0.00018 (USD/hour) × 1024 (GB) + 0.00012 (USD/hour) × (2000 - 1024) (GB) = 0.30144 USD ≈ 0.3014 USD
In Hour 5, the maximum value of storage space is 6000 GB, hitting 3 billing tiers.
Hour 5 cost: 0.00018 (USD/hour) × 1024 (GB) + 0.00012 (USD/hour) × 4 × 1024 (GB) + 0.000096 (USD/hour) × (6000 - 1024 × 5) (GB) = 0.76032 USD ≈ 0.7603 USD
The total cost of elastic storage for 5 hours is 0.18 + 0.18 + 0.3014 + 0.3014 + 0.7603 = 1.7231 ≈ 1.72 USD.
The validity period of the above price is limited from June 9, 2025, until the next price change. The actual price you pay upon purchase is subject to the order page you confirmed.
