This document provides the billing description, billing formula, bandwidth unit prices, and billing example for static single-line bandwidth packages in the pay-as-you-go - daily settlement mode.
Note:
Currently, a static single-line bandwidth package is supported only in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing, Jinan, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Wuhan, Shijiazhuang, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Shenyang, Xi'an, and Hefei. For other regions, refer to the console page. If you need to try it out, contact your business manager to apply for activation.
For static single-line bandwidth packages in the pay-as-you-go - daily billing mode, the bandwidth cap can be set within the range of 50-300 Mbps.
A static single line supports multiple network egresses in some regions. EIPs from different network egresses can be added only to the corresponding bandwidth packages.
When a bandwidth package is activated, the estimated fees for one settlement cycle are frozen based on your selected region, ISP, bandwidth cap, unit price, and freezing ratio (60% for static single-line bandwidth packages in the daily billing mode). If your account balance is less than the frozen fees, activation will not be possible. For details, see Frozen Funds.

Billing Description

Billing time
Bills are generated on the first or second day of every month. You can view the specific billing time in the Billing Center. For details, see Bill Description.
Settlement time
Fees are settled on a daily basis and automatically deducted from your account balance.
Settlement scope
Each bandwidth package is specific to a region and a network egress. It can only include EIP instances from the same region and network egress.
Peak bandwidth
Peak bandwidth for a single instance: The bandwidth cap set when you create a bandwidth package.
Total bandwidth in a single region: For bandwidth limits of different line types, see Bandwidth Package Use Limits.

Billing Formula

Bandwidth package fees = Daily peak bandwidth (Mbps) × Unit price (USD/Mbps/day)
Daily peak bandwidth: The bandwidth package is daily billed based on the actual peak inbound and outbound bandwidth used. The bandwidth cap set in the console is only used for rate limiting.

Billing Example

Assume that you activated a CMCC bandwidth package in the daily settlement mode in the Chengdu region on June 1. The bandwidth unit price was 0.23 USD/Mbps/day and the actual peak bandwidth on the day was 100 Mbps. Then the fees you need to pay are calculated as follows:
Bandwidth package fees= 100 × 0.23 = 23 USD
