  1. Log in to your Hostinger account
    Go to the Hostinger website and log in using your credentials.

  2. Access the Domain Management Section
    Once logged in, navigate to the Websites or Domains section (depending on your hosting plan) where your domain is managed. Click on the domain you want to connect to OpenClaw.

  3. Open DNS Zone Editor
    In the domain management area, find and click on the DNS Zone Editor or DNS Settings option. This is where you can modify your domain’s DNS records.

  4. Modify or Add DNS Records for OpenClaw
    You will typically need to add or update the following DNS record types:

    • A Record (for root domain, e.g., example.com):

      • Type: A
      • Name/Host: @ (or leave blank for root domain)
      • Value/Points to: Enter the IP address provided by OpenClaw for their server.
      • TTL: Default (usually 1 hour)

    • CNAME Record (for subdomain, e.g., play.example.com):

      • Type: CNAME
      • Name/Host: play (or the subdomain you want to use)
      • Value/Points to: Use the CNAME target provided by OpenClaw (e.g., something like openclaw.app or a specific server alias).
      • TTL: Default

    ⚠️ Note: The exact IP or CNAME target must be obtained from your OpenClaw dashboard or support. OpenClaw will provide you with the necessary DNS values to point your domain to their game server.

  5. Save Changes
    After entering the correct DNS records, make sure to Save or Apply the changes. DNS propagation may take up to 24–48 hours, though it often happens much faster.

  6. Verify in OpenClaw Dashboard
    Log in to your OpenClaw account, go to the server settings or custom domain section, and input your custom domain (e.g., play.example.com). OpenClaw will verify the DNS configuration. Ensure the domain is properly pointed before finalizing setup.
