Product Introduction

Intelligent Compression automatically adjusts images by intelligently assessing their perceptual quality. Without altering the original image format, it significantly reduces file size while maintaining visual appearance as close to the source image as possible. This achieves reduced image storage space consumption, decreased image access traffic, and accelerated image access speed.
Note:
Intelligent Image Compression is a paid service. Specific fees can be viewed at Image Processing fees.
When using Intelligent Image Compression, please first confirm the relevant restrictions and Region. For details, see Usage Restrictions.

Applicable Scenarios

The Intelligent Compression feature meets the image compression needs of multiple terminals such as PC and App, and is applicable to business scenarios like e-commerce and media. It effectively reduces image transmission latency and loading time, while lowering bandwidth and traffic costs.


Prerequisites

You have enabled the COS service, created a Bucket, and uploaded files to the Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket files.
You have activated the Cloud Infinite service and bound a Bucket. For specific operations, see Bucket Binding.



Usage

Cloud Infinite provides the following methods for configuring and managing the Intelligent Image Compression service:
SDK: You can also use SDK to configure and manage the Intelligent Image Compression capability.
Console: Log in to the CI console to manage Intelligent Image Compression. See Console Operations.
