What Is Cloud Architecture
Cloud Architecture is a visualized editing tool for user architectures of Tencent Cloud Smart Advisor (TSA), helping users quickly digitize business architectures in drawing mode, and identify architecture and resource risks in governance mode. It provides expert optimization suggestions and case practices to enhance business fault tolerance and continuity. By using Cloud Architecture, users can better manage and optimize their cloud architectures, improve business reliability and stability, and mitigate business risks.
Core Features of Cloud Architecture
Cloud Architecture provides a concise and intuitive Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that helps enterprises quickly understand and manage complex cloud environments with the help of business architecture digitization. Meanwhile, TSA integrates multiple professional applications in the Ops domain, delivering an end-to-end Ops management platform for enterprises. It enables the multidimensional cloud governance, simplifies the Ops process, and enhances the Ops efficiency.
Drawing Mode
The TSA-Cloud Architecture team has collaborated with the Tencent Cloud design team to provide nearly 100 types of professional and highly customizable graphic elements, aiming at fully meeting the various needs of users when they draw complex architecture diagrams. These graphic elements cover various key components from the infrastructure to the application layer and common graphic elements, ensuring that users can accurately and efficiently map out every detail of their system architecture designs.
Currently, Cloud Architecture provides the following three drawing modes:
Link drawing: The platform automatically analyzes the dependencies between your resources and draws your system resource call chain with one click, easily presenting upstream and downstream relationships.
Network drawing: The system generates a network topology of your cloud resources with one click based on the hierarchies of regions, virtual private clouds (VPCs), availability zones (AZs), and subnets.
Manual drawing: You can freely draw a diagram via drag-and-drop operations. This mode provides abundant graphic elements and convenient operations. After the diagram is drawn, manually bind resources to establish associations between the architecture diagram and cloud resources. Currently, the following three resource binding methods are provided to accommodate various scenarios:
Governance Mode
After you switch to the governance mode, the Well-Architected Framework assessment module is displayed by default. This module employs an advanced assessment system to conduct comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the architecture, covering three core layers, including the resource layer, architecture layer, and application layer, as well as the following six key pillars of Well-Architected Framework: security, reliability, performance, cost, operational excellence, and sustainability. By using this multidimensional assessment process, the system accurately calculates the Well-Architected index and provides targeted governance suggestions. For details on the index calculation, see TSA-Well-Architected Framework. Users can follow the guidance of each governance suggestion to easily click and jump to the corresponding application page to perform cloud governance operations. This continuously optimizes and improves the Well-Architected index. Users can also click an application in the application Dock below the architecture diagram to go to the corresponding governance page.
