Previewing or Editing Object

Overview
You can preview object content and edit text objects online in the COS console. For the file types supported for preview, see File Preview Overview.
Directions
1. Log in to the COS console.
2. Click Bucket List on the left sidebar.
3. Locate the bucket where the object resides and click the bucket name.
4. Click File List on the left.
5. Find the target object and click Preview in the Operation column on the right.
6. In the pop-up window, preview the object.
Note:
For buckets created after January 1, 2024, previewing objects of any type using the COS default domain is not supported. Use Custom Origin Server Domains to preview objects.
Additionally, for document files, you can click to copy the temporary link (valid for one hour) and preview it in your browser.
If it is an audio/video file, it will directly open the player in the browser for playback.
7. For a text file, you can click Edit text in the preview window.
8. Authorize to log in to COSBrowser as prompted to edit the file, then you can proceed with file editing.
