Becoming an MSP
Overview
A Managed Service Partner (MSP) is a company certified by Tencent Cloud for their expertise in Tencent Cloud’s public cloud products and ability to provide customers with consultation, design, architecture, deployment, migration, and O&M services.
Positioning and Objective
MSPs serve mainly in scenarios where Tencent Cloud’s public cloud products are integrated into other systems. To better focus on product development, Tencent Cloud welcomes partners to help deliver projects to customers and offer high-quality cloud migration and full-stack cloud management services.
The aim of this program is to improve the technical and service capabilities of our partners to help Tencent Cloud expand sales and revenue, as well as deliver better and cheaper services to customers.
Differences between MSPs and ASPs
Authorized Service Partners (ASPs) act as Tencent’s subcontractors. Tencent engages with customers and then subcontracts part of the work to ASP partners. ASPs are paid by Tencent.
MSPs engage directly with customers. They deliver Tencent Cloud products and services to customers and charge their own fees.

Please note that to become an MSP, you must be a Tencent Cloud agent or reseller that has signed a partner agreement with Tencent.
Certification Process
Prerequisites
Register as a Tencent Cloud agent or reseller.
Apply to Become an MSP.
1. Check the eligibility requirements.

2. Employee training and certification
Let your employees take our training courses and exams (at least 5 employees must hold certifications according to the requirements below).

3. Application and review
Email us your application and materials, we will evaluate and feedback by emails.
4. Contract signing
A digital contract will be sent via email and signed by both parties.
5. Certificate issuing
6. Official entry into the Tencent Cloud partner pool.
