Feature Introduction

Cloud Infinite (CI) provides users with various types of cloud-native audio and video processing capabilities such as audio and video transcoding, super-resolution, classic film restoration, intelligent cover, audio noise reduction, text to speech, video tagging, and digital watermarking. Through the transition of data workflows, it meets the multimedia content processing needs of data on Cloud Object Storage (COS), effectively covering editing, transcoding, quality inspection, and image improvement in video content production across various industries such as media, education, and e-commerce.
Notes:
Using the Media Processing feature requires activating the Cloud Infinite service. Media processing fees incurred will be billed by Cloud Infinite. For detailed billing information, see Cloud Infinite Media Processing fees. Certain media processing capabilities provide customers with a free tier of usage. For details, see Free tier.
Cloud Infinite (Cloud Infinite, CI) and COS (Cloud Object Storage, COS) are deeply integrated. You need to bind or create a new COS Bucket to use Cloud Infinite related features. You can bind a Bucket via the console or bind a Bucket via API.
When using the Media Processing service, please first confirm the relevant limitations and Regions. For details, see Limitations.
You can create a workflow or task to perform corresponding operations of media processing on files. For more information about media processing, see Media Processing Service.

Other Operations

After enabling the media processing feature, you can perform operations according to the following scenarios:
For specified files in a bucket: You can create an MPS task to perform corresponding media processing operations on the files. For details, see Task Management.
For incremental files in a bucket: You can create a workflow to automatically trigger corresponding media processing operations when files are uploaded to the bucket, performing automated processing and saving. For details, see Workflow Management.
For existing files in a bucket: You can perform automated processing and saving on specified files through batch tasks. For details, see Batch Data Processing.
