Tencent Cloud Load Balancer (CLB) offers shared instances and LCU-supported instances.
Note:
To ensure performance and stability, CLB adopts a distributed high-availability cluster architecture. Therefore, rate limiting is also distributed.
Multiple servers in a CLB cluster support business at the same time and share the same limits. The rate limit configurations of these servers are adjusted in real time based on business workloads to balance resource allocation and ensure service stability. When a rate limit metric value approaches the upper limit, rate limiting may be triggered. The actual metric values fluctuate slightly around the upper limit. It is recommended that you plan resource usage as needed. If your business is highly sensitive to packet loss caused by rate limiting, it is recommended that you increase the upper limits (for example, increase by 10%).

Rate limiting
Starting from June 25, 2023, Tencent Cloud added specification-based rate limits on shared CLB instances created by new users (users who don't have shared CLB instances under their accounts).
For users who have shared CLB instances under their accounts before June 25, 2023, the rate limits take effect starting from 12:00:00, August 25, 2023 (UTC+8).
Note:
When the existing shared CLBs require excess performance, they take extra resources from the shared cluster, which may cause performance preemption.
