Overview

This API is used to submit a video moderation job. The video moderation feature is async. You can submit a job to moderate your video files, and then use the API for Querying Video Moderation Job Result or Video Moderation Callback Content to query the moderation results.
The API supports the following operations:
Note:
Moderate video files stored in COS.
Moderate videos at URLs of a third-party cloud storage vendor.
Automatically detect video files and recognize non-compliant content in OCR, object detection (such as object, advertising logo, and QR code), image recognition, and audio moderation dimensions based on the deep learning technology.
Get the detection results by setting the callback address Callback or calling the API for Querying Video Moderation Job Result.
Recognize various non-compliant scenes, including pornographic, illegal, and advertising information.
Customize moderation policies based on different business scenarios.
Customize blocklist/allowlist image libraries to filter non-compliant content of custom types.

Billing Description

Video moderation is divided into video image moderation, video frame capturing, and video sound moderation as detailed below:
Video image moderation: Based on the video frame capturing capability, this service takes video screenshots for moderation. The moderation fees are the same as those incurred by image moderation.
Video frame capturing: This service incurs video frame capturing fees.
Video sound moderation: This service extracts sound from the video for sound moderation. The moderation fees are the same as those incurred by audio moderation.
Each moderation scene is billed separately. For example, if you choose to moderate one video file in two scenes involving pornography and advertising, you will be charged twice.
Calling the API will incur image moderation fees, audio moderation fees, and COS read request fees.
If the video files are stored in COS STANDARD_IA storage class, calling the moderation API will incur STANDARD_IA data retrieval fees as described in Data Retrieval Fees.
Video moderation is not supported for objects stored in the ARCHIVE or DEEP ARCHIVE storage classes. To moderate these objects, you first need to restore them as instructed in POST Object restore.

Restrictions

Supported video file size: < 5 GB
Supported video file formats: FLV, MKV, MP4, RMVB, AVI, WMV, 3GP, MOV, M3U8, M4V.
You can configure to moderate video image and/or video sound.

SDK Recommendation

COS SDK provides complete capabilities of demo, automatic integration, and signature calculation. You can easily and quickly call APIs through the SDK. For more information, see SDK Overview.
