Grace period
If a customer account is overdue, pay-as-you-go resources will enter a grace period, during which the resources work normally. After the overdue protection period ends, the resources will be suspended and cannot work normally. The duration of the overdue protection period depends on the product policy. The default rules are 2 hours for hourly settlement products and 24 hours for daily and monthly settlement products.

Renew: Users extend validity periods of resources through payment.
Upgrade: Users pay for improving product specifications, features, or services within the valid periods.
Downgrade: Users downgrade configurations of products or services within the validity periods.
Refund: Users trigger resource release and get refunds based on actual situations.

Order statuses refer to statuses of orders in different stages in an order lifecycle.

Pay-as-you-go
Pay-as-you-go, also known as postpaid, indicates that users request resources as needed, and fees are charged based on actual resource usage at the time of settlement.
Pay-as-you-go resource
Pay-as-you-go resource, also known as postpaid resource, indicates that users request resources as needed, with charges based on actual resource usage at the time of settlement. Pay-as-you-go resources are billed according to the settlement cycles of the resources. Pay-as-you-go resources can be settled by hour, day, or month. When a cycle is reached, deductions are executed and a bill is generated. If the account balance is insufficient, a customer account will be in arrears and should complete payment by the agreed time. If payments are not made by the agreed time, the resources in use will be disabled and reclaimed.

Reverse
It refers to an operation that a user tops up to clear the account arrears after a pay-as-you-go resource is suspended due to overdue payments. After the reversal, the user can continue to use this resource.
Real-Name Authentication
As required by laws, cloud service users must verify identity in order to prevent illegal activities. Users submit real-name authentication materials for Tencent Cloud to review.
Region
A region refers to a region where Tencent Cloud hosted data centers locate. It contains multiple availability zones (AZ).
For example, the region of a hosted data center is Beijing, with its AZ as Beijing Zone 1. Cloud services in the same region can interconnect through the private network, while private network communication is not available between different regions. Choose the region closest to your customers to reduce the access latency and improve the download speed.
Resource
A resource refers to an instance provided by a cloud service provider to its customer. As cloud computing service models differ, services provided to customers include:
SaaS: Services provided to customers are applications running on the cloud computing infrastructure.
PaaS: Services provided to consumers are deploying customer applications on suppliers' cloud computing infrastructure.
IaaS: Services provided to consumers are the use of facilities, including processing, storage, network, and other basic computing resources.
For simplicity, different description prefixes are added to resources based on billing modes and renewal methods. For example, resources are classified as yearly/monthly subscription resources and pay-as-you-go resources by payment mode. By renewal configuration, resources are classified as automatic renewal resources, manual renewal resources, and non-renewal upon expiration resources.
Resource package
A resource package belongs to a customer's asset after the purchase and can offset the pay-as-you-go usage of specified products or services to reduce costs.

Second-Level reseller
A second-level reseller refers to a special type of end customer who is responsible for managing some of a distributor's end customers. The distributor authorizes and reviews the onboarding of the second-level reseller.
Suspending service
Resources stop running and cannot be provided normally.

Tag
Tag is a cloud resource management tool provided by Tencent Cloud that allows users to categorize, search for, and aggregate cloud resources with identical features from different dimensions, thereby easily managing cloud resources.
A tag consists of a tag key and a tag value. Users can create a tag and bind it to cloud resources. A tag key can correspond to multiple tag values, and a tag key-value pair can be bound to multiple cloud resources.

Usage details refer to detailed usage data of pay-as-you-go category products.

A voucher is a type of benefit that can be used to offset the order amounts or other expenses when the usage conditions are met.

Yearly/Monthly subscription
It refers to a prepaid billing mode. Users can prepay for usage of one or more months or even years.
Yearly/monthly subscription resource
Yearly/monthly subscription resource, also known as prepaid resource, indicates a resource purchased in the form of yearly/monthly subscription. Users make one-time payments for one month, multiple months, or multiple years as needed. After successful payments, cloud resources will be assigned to users until the expiration. If users do not continue with renewals after the expiration, resources will be reclaimed.
