To improve the efficiency of content delivery and stability in a weak network environment when playing video, the Tencent Cloud VOD team officially launched the QUIC Acceleration feature. The Video-on-demand QUIC Acceleration feature is based on the acceleration network deployed globally by Tencent Cloud, and supports content delivery using the QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) protocol.
The Video-on-demand (VOD) service will add a QUIC acceleration request billing item on June 1, 2023, and formally bill the QUIC acceleration request task initiated by the user.
