Background
To provide you with a more stable and reliable service, it is recommended to switch to the new support routing.
Impact
Because it is necessary to update the bootstrap-server addresses for the producer and consumer ends and restart the services, this will cause a brief interruption in business production and consumption.
Operation Steps
1. Create a route: Create a new support routing.
2. Switch routes: Update the bootstrap-server addresses for all producers and consumers to the newly created support environment routing. (Producers and consumers can be switched in any order, as long as all are updated.)
3. Restart services: Restart the production and consumer ends. (The restart order is order-independent; decide based on your business needs at your discretion.)
4. Verify the business: Continuously monitor whether the business is stable for a period of time, and it is recommended to observe for more than 3 hours.
5. Delete route: Delete the old support route.
Rolling back
During the business verification phase, if any abnormality is detected, a rollback is required. The prerequisite for rollback is that the old support routing has not been deleted. Specific rollback operations:
1. All producers and consumers replace the address of the old support routing.
2. Restart all producer and consumer end services.
3. Verify the business.
